General Information for Private Parties

Banquet and Buffet Menus

All food choices, room arrangements & other details pertaining to your event should be submitted to the Manager at least 2 weeks prior to the event. This will ensure proper coordination of your event. Harold's Inn must supply all food and beverage, with the exception of a cake. Additional items may be added to a buffet. We will work with you on any special requests. All food and beverage is subject to a 6% sales tax & a service gratuity of 20% for one check and 22% for separate checks. Cash bar is an additional 50 cents per guest.

Minimums & Guarantees for Private Rooms

An exact, final attendance must be supplied at least 5 days prior to your event. The attendance guarantee may not be reduced after the 5 days have expired. The guaranteed number will be reflected on the final bill unless counts increase after the guarantee has been made.

A minimum of 50 paying guests is required to reserve a private room. If your guest count falls lower than 50, your final bill will still reflect 50 guests. Children under 10 are half price off the buffet menu or may order off the Kid's Menu. Our rooms are free of charge for a three-hour time period & with a buffet or banquet selection from these menus. There are minimums in our rooms on certain days of the week & certain times of the year. If your event falls on a Monday through Thursday, a private room may be available for a lesser number of guests. Available Sundays for an $1800 food and beverage minimum.

Room Assignments/Decorations

Harold's Inn reserves the right to change room assignments at any time due to fluctuations in attendance and room set-up requirements.

In order to prevent damage to the property, decorations may not be affixed to the walls with any adhesive. Decoration time is normally 1 hour prior to the event. Please schedule this time with the Manager.

Deposits/payments

A $100 deposit is required within 10 days of booking an event to secure a private room. All deposits are non-refundable. Final payment is due the day of the event. We cannot provide separate checks for food for a party of 30 or more. Cash or Credit Card is accepted. (A check is accepted if it is one check.)

Private Patio Parties

Luncheons - Monday through Saturday between 11 & 3:00 there is no charge for a private party of 50 or more. There is a $500 food & beverage minimum for private parties for a smaller number of guests.

Dinners - Monday through Thursday there is a $750 food & beverage minimum for a private 3 hour dinner party.

Fridays & Saturdays there is a $1800 food & beverage minimum for a 3 hour private party.

Sundays - 3 hour private parties available by request. $1800 food & beverage minimum.

Alcohol/Beverage Options

Harold's offers three forms of primary beverage sevice. One service must be chosen prior to the event.

Open Bar - Charges are accrued based on actual consumption. A dollar limit may be set and/or limited selections may be made. Service gratuity will be added to the total beverage tab.

Drink Tickets - Each guest receives a pre-determined number of tickets. As tickets are redeemed, charges are accrued based on actual consumption with service gratuity added. The host/hostess of the party decides what type of alcohol the drink tickets will be redeemed for. No charge for unused tickets. Gratuity will be added to the total beverage tab.

Cash Bar - Guests are responsible for their own beverage service on a pay-as-you-go basis, which is provided through the servers handling the party. There is an additional service charge of 50 cents per guest for this service.
