Private Party Information

Overview

          We have event specialists who will guide you through all of the details for planning your event.

          After reviewing our online information, just call 724-375-8992 and ask to speak with someone about planning your event.

Banquet and Buffet

          Prior to your event we will help you select which menu choices will best serve your guests. We will be happy to work with you on any special requests.

          Our buffets require a 30 adult meal guarantee for lunch, Sundays and week night dinners. On Friday and Saturday evenings our buffet minimum is 50. We have many "sit down" options for parties less than 50.

          All food and beverage is subject to a 6% sales tax and a service gratuity of 20% for one check . Separate checks of 30 or less are subject to 22% gratuity per check. If you have over 30 separate checks they will be charged $1.50 service charge per check, plus 20% gratuity.

Guarantees and Deposits

          Once you select your date, we will need a $100.00 deposit to reserve your date. This deposit is refundable up until 30 days before your event. We will need a count and final food choices at least 2 weeks prior to your event.

          You may alter your count up until 3 days before your event. All charges are based on your final count unless you have a few more guests, and they will be added accordingly and may select food choices from our regular menu should it be necessary.

          Final payment is due the day of your event. Cash or credit card is accepted. We can take a personal check with a valid driver's license and a major credit card for ID.

Private Rooms & Set Up

          We are happy to guarantee a private indoor room for a 50 guest minimum any day. (*see below for patio parties) We often have private space available for smaller dinner or lunch parties, Sunday through Thursday. Our rooms are free of charge for a 3 hour period when selecting from our buffet or banquet menu. After 3 hours you will be charged $25 per hour for our service crew.

          We reserve the right to change indoor room assignments due to fluctuations in attendance and set up requirements.

          You may "decorate" one hour prior to your private event or may drop off table decorations the day of the event. We can provide a cake table and gift table for you. Decorations may not be affixed to our walls, ceilings or lights with adhesive.

Table Cloths

          Both your cake table and gift table will have white linen table cloths. If you would like table cloths on all tables, they are available at our cost of $1.35 each. Please request additional table cloth service when booking your party.

Private Patio Parties

Luncheons - There is no room charge for a private party of 50 or more between 11:00 and 3:00.

Dinner Parties - Sunday through Thursday there is no room charge for a 3 hour private party of 50 or more with a $750 food and beverage minimum.

Fridays & Saturdays Evenings -  there is an $1800 food & beverage minimum for a 3 hour private party anytime.

Smaller parties may request patio seating based on availability, but may not be private.

Alcohol / Beverage Options

Harold's offers three forms of primary beverage service. One service must be chosen prior to the event.

Open Bar - Charges are accrued based on actual consumption. A dollar limit may be set and/or limited selections may be made. Service gratuity will be added to the total beverage tab.

Drink Tickets - Each guest receives a pre-determined number of tickets. As tickets are redeemed, charges are accrued based on actual consumption with service gratuity added. The host/hostess of the party decides what type of alcohol the drink tickets will be redeemed for. No charge for unused tickets. Gratuity will be added to the total beverage tab.

Cash Bar - Guests are responsible for their own beverage service on a pay-as-you-go basis, which is provided through the servers handling the party. There is an additional service charge of 50 cents per guest for this service payable by the host.
